Most Poly flex forms can bend down to a 3 ft radius. Xtra flex forms form radius' from 36" down to 6".

The Base-Line form has a 4" wide bottom flange and is made of 10 gauge steel which gives it stability makes it ideal for heavier concrete screeds. Slim-Line forms have a 2" wide top and bottom and are made of 12 gauge steel which makes them lighter and easier to fit in areas with limited accessibility.

2-4 ft per minute is the recommended rate of travel. Depending on the slump and consistency of the concrete, you may need to speed up or go slower.

Metal Forms Corporation has engineered long-life and low maintenance into every screed. Speed Screeds also have the largest eccentric weights of any screed on the market. The size of the eccentric weights provides the most slab consolidation while not over vibrating the concrete or the screed. Our Cruiser and Heavy-Duty screeds have "double life" finishing tubes which can be rotated when one side wears out.

Poly forms are made in 4” and 6” heights and can be stacked in any configuration up to 18”.

Metal Forms Corporation does not make wall panel forms. However, we do make median barrier and bridge parapet forms.

All Poly forms are 12’ in length and must be shipped via common carrier. Depending on the quantity ordered, Xtra Flex forms may be shipped via UPS.

Usually, 1” for every five feet of screed. However, the more shorter sections used the more crowning capability.

Most often the length of stakes used should be two times the height of the form, depending on soil conditions.  3/4” or 7/8” stakes can be used on flatwork forms and 7/8” or 1” diameter stakes can be used on paving forms.
