Speed Screed® Heavy Duty™ Concrete Screed

The unique design of the machine, the size of the eccentric weights and bearing placement within the machine combine to product superior concrete slabs. The Speed Screed® Heavy Duty™ is capable of producing up to 4,800 V.P.M.s under normal operating conditions. The machine is capable of producing up to 452 lbs. of centrifugal force at each bearing location. Bearings are normally placed on 30 inch centers in the machine. A gas powered Honda engine runs the screed. The engine mounts on either the 5.5 foot or 10.5 foot power section and is equipped with a centrifugal clutch and dual belt drive.  No extra parts are needed with this concrete screed as turnbuckles with lock nuts provide fast, positive adjustments for variable crows and slopes.
